SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
Company
The Utah Idaho Southern Baptist Convention (“UISBC”) may utilize SMS/Text Messaging to further its campaigns. By completing the SMS/Text Messaging Opt-In Form, you expressly consent to receive non-marketing and marketing text messages from the UISBC, including text messages made with an Auto dialer, at the mobile phone number(s) you provide.
Program Description
The UISBC offers its text messaging program to provide you with information: (1) concerning your account with the UISBC and (2) other UISBC products, services, and promotions (collectively the ” UISBC Programs”). The UISBC may, from time to time, use standard or an automatic telephone dialing system (“Auto dialer”) to deliver text messages to you under the UISBC Programs. You agree that you will not use the UISBC Program for any illegal or unlawful purposes.
Message Frequency
The number of UISBC text messages that you receive may vary depending upon your account activity, your communication with the UISBC, and the UISBC Programs in which you opted into receiving messages.
Cost
The UISBC does not impose a separate fee for sending UISBC text messages. However, standard message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with the UISBC or UISBC Programs, as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan. Please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plans and information.
Carrier Disclaimer
The UISBC and the mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt-In
To opt-in to receive text messages from the UISBC or under UISBC Programs, complete the SMS/Text Messaging Opt-In Form and submit it to UISBC. UISBC will then send you a text message asking you to confirm your enrollment in the UISBC Program.
How to Opt-Out
To STOP receiving text messages from the UISBC, text STOP to the ten-digit long code from which the text messages are being sent. You will then receive confirmation of your opt-out of the UISBC text-messaging program. You may also opt out by providing written notice to the UISBC at P.O. Box 1347, Draper, UT 84020 or by emailing UISBC at office@uisbc.org, or calling UISBC at (801) 572-5350.

Changes to this SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
The UISBC may revise, modify, or amend these UISBC SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to UISBC website. You agree to review these UISBC SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Your continued consent to receive UISBC text messages will indicate your acceptance of those changes.
Termination of Text Messaging
The UISBC reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of UISBC text messages and the UISBC, for any reason, with or without notice to you. Your receipt of UISBC text messages is also subject to termination in the event that your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses.
Applicable Law
The law of the State of Utah including its statutes of limitations and without reference to any conflict of laws principles, shall be applied to any claim, matter, or dispute between the parties or when governing, constraining, or enforcing these SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions, the UISBC or UISBC Programs, or any text messages between you and UISBC or anyone acting on your or UISBC’s behalf, or any of the rights, duties, or obligations of the parties arising from or relating in any way to the subject matter of these Terms & Conditions.
